David Walliams dropped by publishing house.
Best-selling writer for children and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the publisher commented: "After careful consideration, and under the leadership of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing any new titles by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the conclusion was made after an inquiry regarding reports of conduct deemed unsuitable involving women.
The firm has not elaborated on the specific rationale behind the move, adding: "We refrain from speaking about confidential company decisions."
